The Optimist Creed by Christian D. Larson is one of my favorite writings, so I recently whipped up a little black and white poster for my cork board in my office. It's perfect for a Monday morning. I think you might enjoy it, too! (If you prefer a white-on-black version, click here! I can also provide the hi-res copies if you want to print it out.)
Have a great day, friends! xo
"Give so much time to improving yourself that you have no time to criticize others" is just wonderful.

ReplyDeleteI wrote this down in a page in my filofax so now I carry it everywhere! Thank you! x
ReplyDeleteAt first I misread it as "The Optometrist Creed". I got there in the end.

Optimism, like everything in life, must be taken in moderation. Hope that doesn't sound too negative! Just sayin, I think negativity plays an important part in life too. Id love to read some articles elaborating on that as well... Off to google!
ReplyDeleteI really needed this today. Thanks Kaelah :)

What Lola Wants
I often have trouble staying positive, and sometimes things like this seem silly and like they won't make a difference (a pessimist would say that!) but I think it might finally be working!
ReplyDeleteSo inspiring! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLovely! Thank you for posting this :)

I love this so much. Thank so much for sharing. I might send this to my sister, who would love having this around her right about now.
ReplyDeleteKaelah, I have read your blog for about a year now and have never commented before. I just want to thank you for this post today - these words are exactly what I needed to hear. I was accepted into the Peace Corps last week which is both scary and exciting and I want to print this off and take it with me! Thank you for your words, your fun style and great writing! :)
ReplyDeleteAhh, this is so awesome. This comes close to "Desiderata" for my favorite writings/words to try to live by. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteDesiderata is my all time favorite, and I also have a print of it that I did in my room! I did a version of it for my senior show in college a few years ago. I read it *every* single morning :)
Deletekaelah, that is absolutely wonderful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sign to have in your room.

I faced one of the biggest challenges today that I have had in my career, and I am terrified of what the results will be; I have been just beating myself up over everything I might have done that might keep me from this promotion. I needed this, and I appreciate you for posting it!!
