// Linden recently got a parcel of goodies from Arshiner and he's been glued to that scooter! (Seriously - if you have any toddlers to buy a gift for - buy them this! They will love it!) It folds up really compact which makes it so easy for us to take wherever we'er going for the day (like to my parents' or to a friend's house). It's sturdy enough for even Toby to ride on. We cannot get enough of it! He also got a little doctor kit (to be like dad ha) and this ball + mallet toy which he's also obsessed with. He'll be banging on those balls, cackling when they drop and roll out, all while wearing a stethoscope. Seriously, he's perfect, and now I want all the other fun and bright toys on that site.

// Daily Deals for Moms

PatPat - Daily Deals for Moms
One of the perks of being a mom is shopping for the cutest, smallest, sweetest baby clothing and kids clothing! I've loved shopping for my boys since before Toby came to live with us. Seeing Toby's style evolve has been so awesome. He's gone to almost only wearing bowties and button ups to loving cut off jean shorts (jorts! ha!) and sassy graphic tees. He still loves his bowties now, don't get me wrong! Few things can come between him and his precious collection box, but he's become more relaxed and laid back with what he wears. Kind of weird to think that deeply about a 7 year old boy's style choices, right? haha!

Despite Linden only being 20 months, we generally let him pick what he wants to wear (as long as it's seasonally appropriate). Of course I get to make the real decisions when I buy his clothes, but until he's old enough to really dictate what he wants me to buy, I get to choose what I love :P Boys clothing has gotten so much cuter since even Toby was Linden's age! I'm always always always looking for new sites and places to find great deals on cute outfits. I've written about PatPat before, but today I'm sharing their recently relaunched website! I've only shopped on PatPat via their app, so this was the first time I even used their site. I love how clean and streamlined it is! One of my biggest complaints about most flash sale sites like this is that they cram SO MUCH STUFF onto the site. Sometimes I just give up shopping even on my favorite sites because there is simply too much to cull through and it feels like a chore. Shopping shouldn't feel like a chore, right?! PatPat is so easy to use and it's not overwhelming at all. The only thing I wish they had: an upcoming sales page! I like to get a peek at what to expect in the upcoming week so I know when to really be checking in. But it's such an easy and inexpensive way to score some trendy kids clothing. There are even cloth diaper deals, too!

Some other news worth noting:
  • PatPat now ships internationally (!!!)
  • It's not just a flash sale site. They also have deals that never expire.
  • They now have even more items available on their site

I can't wait for those two little sets to arrive! Linden is going to look SO cute! Check it out and see if there's anything you like!

// WEAR Conference + GIVEAWAY!

Wear Conference - MommyCon
I'm sure most of you who have kids and practice any type of attachment parenting has likely heard of MommyCon, right? We all loaded up and headed down to Atlanta in February to the closest MommyCon location. Well, now the team behind MommyCon has put together a 3-day conference dedicated to the art of babywearing! YES! The WEAR Conference is happening in Chicago at the end of May. The Windy City will be overrun with all the babywearers from May 27-29th! My kind of people!

As an educator and avid wearer, I know just how amazing the benefits of attachment parenting can be. I never dreamt that this would become such a passion of mine, but I'm so glad it did. I think my experience with helping other families wear their babies definitely lends itself well to my doula career. I'm trying to see if there's any way I can swing 3-4 days away from the Flynn fellas so I can get up there and enjoy the conference for myself! You can choose from a variety of ticket options: 1 day passes for Friday, 3 day passes for Friday through Sunday, and the Ultimate Educator package (!!!) which includes a 3 day admission and an educator kit meant to help start a lending library. Seriously the Ultimate Educator package is to. die. for!

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

And now one lucky winner of This Charming Life gets a 3-day pass to WEAR! All you have to do is leave a comment below telling me a little bit about your babywearing experience(s)! -- If you've never worn before, tell me why it interests you!

A winner will be chosen at random next weekend, and contacted shortly thereafter. Good luck! Hope to see some of you there!

// 5 Must Have Spring Dresses from Stitch Fix

Stitch Fix Spring Dresses
I took a few months worth of a hiatus from Stitch Fix over the winter, mainly because I hate shopping in the winter. I'm not a fan of the thick, scratchy fabrics, and I hate how bulky I feel in winter garb. Anyone else? Or is that just me? Our bank account gets a little breather haha! But once Spring hits, it's on! Patterns! Dresses! Ruffles! AHH! I love when color comes back into the world. Between the green trees and the abundance of dresses that hit the racks, Spring might just be my favorite season. In my most recent Fix I got an assortment of awesome dresses, and I thought I'd share them here along with their style names. If you like one you can request it from your stylist, or buy it online! Here's what was inside...
Stitch Fix Spring Dresses
The Delia dress from Pixley is so cute! The colors and stripes are so fresh and fun. I really like how the pattern arches on the skirt instead of being perfectly horizontal. The material is a really nice thickness and weight. The only way this dress could be better is if it had pockets. ♥

Stitch Fix Spring Dresses
This Brixon Ivy dress immediately makes me think of Spring in Japan. The mesh detailing at the top of the dress is such a fun way to incorporate black into a warm weather piece. The weight of the dress is surprisingly heavy - almost like neoprene (scuba, duh kb). ♥

Stitch Fix Spring Dresses
This skater dress from 41Hawthorn is the perfect casual, warm weather dress. The fabric is super lightweight but substantial (Is that possible?). It's a very stretchy cotton, and it has a textured pattern (you can see the pattern close up in the very first photo of the post). I have about 5 different versions of this dress in my own closet and they're my favorite to wear to bed. I had being restricted by shorts or pants, so I have a few "night dresses" haha! ♥

Stitch Fix Spring Dresses
This 41Hawthorn dress is my favorite of favorites! I wore it here, in case you missed it! The length, the silhouette, the fabric - it's just a blue ribbon all around. Again, the only thing that could improve it would be pockets! ♥

Stitch Fix Spring Dresses
This peach Pixley dress is basically a different pattern/texture/color version of the purple 41Hawthorn dress up there. It's just as comfortable and easy to wear. I love the tiny houndstooth pattern and the perfect peach color! ♥

I'll be getting my next Fix in the mail in under 2 weeks, so I'll definitely share it soon! I'll be doing an unboxing on Snapchat (username: kaelahbee) so you can get a sneak peek at it first! All of the dresses above came with style cards so if you want to see what the Stitch Fix stylists suggest you wear with them, just pop me a chat on Snapchat or a tweet and I'll send you the style card!

Sign up for Stitch Fix and try it for yourself!

You get 25% your entire order if you keep all 5 pieces in your Fix, just fyi! I'll be sharing a post on the best ways to get the most out of Stitch Fix soon, so stay tuned.

Spring Stitch Fix
This is currently totally my favorite outfit. The polka dot, the chambray, the pattern mixing. These are things that I love! I scored this dress recently in a Stitch Fix haul, and it's the perfect length, weight, and shape. If you are a Stitch Fix subscriber, I highly recommend requesting this one! The chambray shirt is my tried and true Old Navy number. This is the one I bought while I was pregnant with Linden, and I'm still wearing it a couple times a week usually. I'm going to need to replace it soon (luckily it's on sale! haha) My wedges are my old fave MIA Jukebox wedges. I've had these (and the other 2 colorways) for years and they're still hanging in there! It's surprising to me how long some of these clothing items have lasted. Especially considering they're technically fast fashion items. I'm going to be so heartbroken when these finally bite the dust. I've lost my brown pair and it's driving me mad! My purse was an impulse buy back in November or December. I kept it put up with the receipt tucked inside because I was totally convinced I was going to return it. Then this outfit happened and now I just can't let it go. The stripes and florals are so fun together, but paired with a polka dot dress is just *heart eyes* And it's so big, too! I also topped the whole thing off with my DIY hairpiece that I wore in our wedding! I love when I can sneak that into outfits.

Baseball season is in full swing now, and boy oh boy do I miss having regular bedtimes for the boys! Toby had his first game of the year on Monday and despite their team losing, he did such a great job. So much hustle! This is his fourth year playing (!!!) but it's really kind of the first year that I've seen him get super into it. I'm sure it just has to do with his maturity level and attention span, but it's exciting to see him try harder. I can't believe he's 7, y'all. Sometimes I'll run across a photo of when he had just turned 3 and came to live with us, and I'll just stare at that photo and wonder "Where did you go?!?!" I almost find it hard to remember him being that small, even with all of the photos. We're both counting down the days until Summer break, though. I can't wait to have him home all Summer and come up with a massive bucket list to check off!

I know I mentioned snapchat the other day, but really y'all, I'm hooked now. I never really "got" snapchat, and I'm not even sure if I do now... but I have fun so whatever! I'm 'kaelahbee' on there, like everywhere else. I've been thinking up some silly but fun things to share on there, soooooooo you know. Anyway, Happy Wednesday! I hope it's a great one!
