Sneak Peeks of Home

Yesterday was a busy busy day! We spent the day moving all of our big furniture (read: fridge, couches, dressers, bookshelves, etc) thanks to the help of my best friend Bryan. We honestly couldn't have done it without him! Not to mention my step dad came by after work to help and even came during work today to help us get the U-Haul unstuck from our backyard! It's been an adventure! But! We're moved in! Just a few loose ends to tie up at the loft and we'll be home sweet home on the East side of the river! We spent the first night there last night and it truly felt like home! Spending the day moving isn't how I'd normally want to spend my Valentine's Day but it was so well worth it! 

Mike surprised me with a "bath basket" of sorts for Valentine's Day. Filled with bath salts, bubble bath, lotion + the yummiest smelling Lemon Cupcake candles from Yankee! He even ran my bath and got it ready for me! Seriously the highlight of my entire month haha As a gal who lives to take bubble baths, not having one for almost an entire year was torture. Huzzah! Now we're grabbing a bite to eat and stealing some wi-fi since ours won't be up and running until tomorrow. Then it's back to the grind to prepare for two of our favorite people to drive down tomorrow to stay the weekend! Brian and Christina decided to come down for Christina's birthday so I'm way excited!
