A Few Layout Tweaks...



I grew bored of the LCH layout not long after I installed it in December, but each time I go to design something new I find it impossible to leave behind the original colors of my personal branding. Instead, I opted to make a few minor changes. New background, header, a super fun navigation bar (hover over them!), etc. I'll roll out the rest of the tweaks in the next few days but I wanted to get this up while I was on a roll (mainly so I couldn't back out of it!). I think as a designer you tend to be your own worst critic.

    That's so funny. I've hated my blog design for ages and been trying to think of some ways to tweak it so I had yours, along with a couple of my other favourite blogs open for some inspiration and then *poof* I refresh the page and it's suddenly all changed! I love the new navigation bar, those little graphics are so cute! Plus the whole blog kind of looks like it is on a cloud now. Wish I had your design prowess, I totally love this xo

    I love the cloud-like edges! I also love the little surprises when hovering over each link and I really like how you stuck to the same color scheme!

    This layout is brilliant!! I've changed the layout on mine so many times before I finally stuck with the one I have. Even though it isn't exactly what I want (I'm still unsure about the style) it's something I designed using my own photos and without Photoshop (that was a challenge). Anyway the new design is so cute, d'aww :)

    It looks SO pretty! I adore the scalloped edges and the font you've used for your header but the navigation bar is especially adorable. Those little graphics are just too cute! You should be very proud :)
