Cherry and Slate

Yesterday evening we took the girls to the puppy park once Mike got home from work for some little running action. We were kind of enamored with the little boy bully that was there. Cutest lil' 11 month old English Bulldog who loved water and mud just as much as Georgia. He was more interested in trying to wrestle with Pip but we're holding out hope we see him again. (It makes us really want a little boy, too!)

This dress is another one that I let go in my Kaelah's Closet sale (there's still a few dresses left if you're interested!). I might do another overhaul soon. It was good to get so much stuff cleared out. The shoes are my all time favorite Blowfish style, the Romans. I have them in brown, too, and love love love them. Something about the big straps are just lovely!

Today I'm working on editing shoppe inventory pictures and I'll start listing those soon (Maybe today so stay tuned!). I think I might do what I did yesterday and head to Panera for a few hours. Our loft is so dark unless I turn on all of the lights and it's just not very productive. Plus I tend to have a sense of urgency about myself if I'm out in public.

  3. This dress is so cute! I can't believe you are giving it up!
I have the same type of problem in our apartment. I get all cozy in front of my laptop in our dark living room and then I never get any work done. I live two blocks from a great local coffee shop though so I go there to encourage myself to work on a pretty regular basis. Just make sure you take headphones or people will INSIST on talking to you. ;)

  4. Love that dress and the color combo. I also adore the Roman shoes...they've been out of my size for a bit so I guess I'll have to wait :(

  14. Yes, that dress is super cute, and a great color. I love the eyelet details. I really liked the Romans for a while, then when you graduated and wore them and said the back kind of rubs your foot uncomfortably if you walk in them a lot I took the advice and don't like them as much anymore. I bought the rescue wedges in tan, which were SUPER cute, but the heel was really thin compared to the rest of the shoe and I could see myself rolling my ankle in them. walking wasn't hard, but standing is where I wasn't very steady. So I sent them back but I'm keeping my Halista flats and Gimmiks. Can't give 'em up. Love my Halistas! (I actually saw a Mossimo knockoff of them at Target... not cool :\ )
