Today is a busy day for me, honeybees! Four freelance clients, boatloads of emails to respond to, sponsorship stuff to take care of and design, and lots of posts to format! Not that I'm complaining one bit! Living the dream and I couldn't be happier :D Gotta make time for some friends tonight, too, so off I go! I'm going to share with you one of the recent albums I can't get enough of! I've always been a Matt Nathanson fan but this album seriously tops everything he's ever done! I love love love it! What do you think?
What song/album/artist can't you get enough of lately?
I need some playlist inspiration! xo
I love Grizzly Bear, Mumford & Sons, Two Door Cinema Club, Foster The People, Sia, Regina Spektor and others...
ReplyDeletelocal natives, the head and the heart, and lissie-- all on heavy rotation.
ReplyDeleteI love Matt Nathanson! and other bands that were already mentioned :) i love indie music altogether.
ReplyDeleteI love some Matt Nathanson! I am in a Dawes and She and Him kinda mood recently. It's nice summer kinda music. It's great crafting music mojo!
ReplyDeletelately the xx has been my go to listen.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard Matt Nathanson before. I like it- it makes me happy :)
ReplyDeleteAs of late, I'm listening to Mumford & Sons (and who isn't?), The Airborne Toxic Event, and the Goo Goo Dolls. I have a life long for the Goos, and I'm constantly harping that they don't get the real recognition they deserve so... don't be surprised if I mention them again sometime. :P
Aside from that, I've got the constant rotation of Bowie and Queen in my stereo.
Wow, never heard of this, thanks! I've been listening to Social Distortion's new album, Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes...but it differs quite a bit from the bands listed here! :) Check it out if you're interested!

ReplyDeleteI really like the new Death Cab album and I've rediscovering Semisonic. I loved them in high school. They were such an under-appreciated band.
ReplyDeleteI just recently downloaded Rave On, a collection of Buddy Holly covers by contemporary artists. It's pretty amazing. I love Buddy Holly and many of my favorite artists are on there, including Fiona Apple, Paul McCartney, and She & Him.
ReplyDeleteI'm just now getting into the indie music scene. I like this Matt Nathanson guy, pretty good. Right now,I'm listening to alot of Lightning 100 (100.1 and I'm sure you've heard of it.) I especially like Mumford & Sons,311,Led Zeppelin,You are a Tourist by Death Cab for Cutie (I haven't checked out the album yet),and the Foo Fighters. :)
ReplyDeleteBeen bouncing back and forth between good old nineties rock (Smashing Pumpkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gin Blossoms) and some brand spankin' new albums by Bon Iver, Fink and Yacht. Totally worth checking out :)

Still crushing over Adele. She can do no wrong in my eyes. Had Sandi Thom on in the car the other day and, of course, Take That - who are HUGE here in the UK (and more than a little tasty).
ReplyDeletei've been jamming to john vanderslice lately. "dear sarah shu" and "kookaburra" are wonderful songs!
