Today is going to be a busier day. I have to dye my hair (look at those yucky roots! Ew!), find something to wear to work, actually GO to work, and do the whole bartending thing until 2am! I hope I remember how to make drinks! It's amazing that I've worked there for 4 and a half years but I feel like I forgot how! (BTW, I tried fixing the pixelated issue that some of you were having with my photos from Flickr! Let me know if it worked! But I'm too lazy to go back and fix the most recent entry!)
xoxo

aw yay i love it, i wish i was in seventeen magazine, so jealous . but anyway i dont even think im taht fashionable anymore
ReplyDeleteawe i remember this ! and your current outfit is darling too ;)
ReplyDeleteI love both outfits!! you look super cute ^.^
ReplyDeleteI think it's awesome that you were in seventeen magazine and that you still rock that outfit! it's a keeper for sure ^.^
I keep thinking you'd be much prettier without all the makeup...I don't want to be hurtful but why do that to your eyebrows? Your foundation/concealer/i'm not sure what its called also looks very heavy in close ups...Please do a post sans makeup? Pretty please? :D
ReplyDeletecute dress! i love that color! i need to do some nashville thrifting sooo badly-todays my last day of internship before graduation so im rewarding myself with some shopping :)
ReplyDeleteYour shoes in the 2nd outfit are really cute and your hair compliments the first outfit really nicely! That's also really neat that you were featured in seventeen magazine!

I'm wearing my mexican moo-moo right now :) WOOP WOOP!!!
ReplyDeleteI love both of those dresses, especially the mexican style one! i've been looking for one like that!
ReplyDeletemeep: while i can appreciate your concern, i don't understand why you would find it beneficial to anyone to come onto my blog and basically tell me how you don't like the way i do my makeup. that's fine if you don't, but what does voicing it on such a public (and personal) platform do for you, or for anyone? to say something to someone like "why do you do that to yourself?" is SO incredibly rude. no matter if its makeup, eyebrows, tattoos, or clothing choices. i DO this to MYSELF because I choose to. you may feel you could do a better job, but this isn't your blog and this isn't your face to fix up. if my eyebrows or choice in makeup bother you so badly, feel free to cease reading my blog. no hard feelings. tacking on "i feel like you'd be so much prettier without makeup!" doesn't make the statement okay... it's like a backhanded compliment in the worst form. i'm not sure if your comment was meant to be offensive or somehow insightful, but statements like that are not welcome here. you may have your opinion, but i'd rather not have it thrown at me unsolicited.
ReplyDeleteyou look gorgeous. i love that dress. and those shoes are so amazing! cute cute cute outfit!

HEY, I THINK YOU'RE AWESOME! I think your eyebrows are pretty cool too. and so is that blue dress!
ReplyDeleteyou look gorgeous girl. love these outfits. and what a handsome man you've got there. haha. i actually adore the way you do your makeup, btw. :)

I love, love both outfits! :D You're so pretty.
ReplyDeleteKaelah, I'm so sorry you took it that way! I didn't mean to be rude..I actually really like your blog, tattoos, piercings or clothes (I have body mods myself), those didn't have anything to do with it. I guess I'm more of a keep it natural type when it comes to makeup, I never use it myself (I hate that most of it gets tested on animals). I also didn't mean to say you should change the way you do your makeup, do whatever makes you feel comfortable, nor does it bother me. I just wanted to see you without makeup for a change..Can I dare you to post a picture without makeup? :) Your other readers might agree that you look just as pretty! My previous post also wasn't meant to be a statement, just a thought. I normally rarely comment, but I noticed this was a recurring thought of mine and I just thought I'd ask; that being said, I will say that my opinion was biased because I'm not much of a makeup person, as I said. So there's really no need to feel offended or insulted.
ReplyDeletemeep: i want to say thank you for your logical and mature handling of this and your reply. it was very insightful and i apologize for immediately taking it to heart or translating it in the wrong way. i understand exactly where you're coming from and it may be something i feel comfortable with in the future. thank you for replying in dignified and tactful manner, while remaining respectful of me and my opinion. a true testament to what debate/forum can be all about. :) thank you.
ReplyDeleteKaelah, I'm glad we sorted this out! I actually commented back without reading your next post, so I'll throw in another apology for asking for a picture without makeup. If however you feel comfortable enough to post one in the future, I'll be sure to compliment you appropriately! :)
ReplyDeleteAugust 2008!? It's hard to believe you were featured in Seventeen two years ago now. I still remember you posting about it as if it were just yesterday. Wow, that must have been back in your public LJ days.
ReplyDeleteYour second outfit is gorgeous. I love, love, love your shoes!
You are just too cute! I love both of the outfits! The studded belt with the lace dress is my favorite.

Kaehla,
ReplyDeleteyou look realy great in both outfits.
Actually I love all you outfit posts. You really found your style and it looks amazing on you.
I love that top dress! The color is so vibrant.
ReplyDeleteI have a dress similar to the other dress... I've only worn it once, but after seeing your styling I'm considering bringing it out and trying again!
That blue dress is divine! Love it!
ReplyDeleteNice Goodwill find, looks similar to the forever 21 dress you posted pics of today. Wish I had the patience for the Goodwill hunt...have you ever been to the thrift store in Hohenwald a.k.a the Bail Sale? Lol What happen to that place, I use to go every weekend with my mom when they "opened the bails". Fun times!
ReplyDeleteOMG I remember that!
