Wedding Wednesday!

This engagement session seriously needs no words. But I like it so much I want to talk about it! Susie sent me a link to it on Tumblr so thanks to her y'all get to see a super super super adorable shoot inspired by The Notebook shot by Blushing Bride Studio! Yes! You will die! Check it out!

In case you were wondering why they chose The Notebook, the bride-to-be's late grandparents had Alzheimers so they felt a real connection with the storyline. I am in awe! You can't help but be inspired when you see something as beautiful as this!

If you were to plan your engagement shoot around a pre-existing movie, what would it be and why? I realize that's probably a hard question, but it could be fun!

  1. This is the cutest! It looks so much like the movie..it's like a fairy tale.

I have no idea what movie I base it off of...my all time fave movie is The Wizard of Oz....I don't know how I'd pull that off tho!

  7. I love these photos! When I first starting scrolling through them, I thought, "She bares a striking resemblance to Rachel McAdams."

My grandmother had dementia and near the end of her life, she thought I was my mother. "The Notebook" is a great story and I can't think of a better one to model my engagement photos after (even though I'm already married!).

  8. This is such a great shoot I love the idea to.

I'm not sure what I would choose I'm not really into romantic movies although maybe Lady & the Tramp would be a nice choice as it's my fave Disney movie xoxo

  17. OH MY GOD. I just died and went to heaven. This is soooo gorgeous. I love The Notebook. My boy loves superheroes so no doubt he'd want a shoot involving lycra, a damsel in distress and a hero. Ha, god help me.

  18. These are amazing! She really does look like Rachel McAdams and I'm totally jealous!

If I were able to do anything, I would want a shoot based on Emma/Pride & Prejudice/Sense & Sensability/North & South. Totally over the top!

  33. Why didn't you post credit to the photographer and who these people are?

    ReplyDelete
  34. @Anon;: I post credit EVERY single week & thought I linked a string of words at the top but suppose I simply forgot before publishing. Will credit as soon as I'm able.

Real question is why did you need to be anonymous to say that? And to be so snide.. So so silly.

  35. @Emily: I believe it was SimplyBloom if I'm not mistaken? I missed crediting up top I suppose so check back tomorrow. Should have it added by then!

About the dress: I never found a credit for it sadly!

  36. Aw, these are adorable!
I can't think of a movie I would want to base wedding photos from. I would want it to be meaningful and I can't think of a movie that even touches my love for Jairo close enough. You know what I mean? We have our own story, we don't need another.

  37. Ohhh this is ridiculously good! I really needed to see something so beautiful today, cheers!

  38. eeeep! i love this! they both look so stunning.

i'm already a married lady, and our engagement pictures were taken in an old run down building and turned out amazing!

the darling love of my life would inevitably pick something super hero-y and nerd-y if he got to base it on a movie. i'm not sure how well spandex + engagement pictures would be! haha!

  39. I may be strange, but my favorite love inspired movies are Secretary and The Fountain. I suppose The Fountain would be better for a shoot like that. ;)

  40. God, they look just like the actors! Wow! What pretty pictures! Love the post!!
    Cheers!!

  41. I can't believe that she really, really looks like Rachel McAdams from certain angles. It's kind of super. Also, how did they do the rain shot?! Wait for a rainy day?! Manufacture rain?! Dump buckets of water?!?! My curiosity cannot be contained!!!

I would base my engagement shots on my all time favorite movie- Moulin Rouge. I know, I know, it's a sad story but it's also very beautiful, learning about love.
