Things I Love Thursday

Thursdays seem to come and go at the speed of light around here. I'm not sure if it's because it's one of the only weekly features I rarely skip or what, but Thursday is kind of like my Sunday (except not really...) so I want it to linger a little longer! I've got a tummy full of french toast (thanks Mike!) and I'm ready to seize the day. Here's a little mid-day pick me up... adorable + cute things! Enjoy! xo

this workspace (+ i normally avoid bright colors) ♥

♥ tom deininger's murals of "stuff"... amazing! (click thru to see!)♥

♥ five little things to remember daily. ♥

♥ this is the most adorable thing in the world. ♥

♥ be still my koala lovin heart! this is adorable!

this awesome pea car (but you'd think it'd have awful blind spots!) ♥

these sweet bunnies. ♥

♥ this poppy flower embroidery. ♥

♥ this inspiring quote. ♥

♥ this is now my desktop background. ♥

Other Awesome Things:

// I am in love with practically everything in Katie Daisy's Flickr photostream...

// I love love love Virginie's "Day Off" look with the sweet sweater and full skirt... so adorable!

// Do you fear you spend entirely too much time on Tumblr or Pinterest? Need the "shock value" of productive time gone out the window to snap you back into your work routine? Rescue Time is for you! It's kind of amazing how much time we spend on "non-work" related sites and interests... even when clocked in! (It blocks certain distracting websites for a set amount of time... For those of use who lack willpower. Me!)

// Madison Sonnier wrote a powerful article for Tiny Buddha and I think many of you can relate to it... It's permanently in my "bookmarks" now.  Realizing your self worth and believing in your path... when all we can seem to do is compare ourselves to others.

// Hot Cocoa Cookies... that's all I'm going to say.

// and maybe one more little recipe... Baked Zucchini Chips. Yum! I love zucchini.

What are you loving this week?

  23. Oh I love that workspace! Who wouldn't be inspired to get to work there with those wonderful colours? And those adorable dogs? I have the photo saved in my files from a while back. I've always thought they were just to darn cute! And you just might have saved my life with that rescue time! Way too much of my time is spent on those sites ... I suppose it is a form of procrastination (wow! thats hard to admit. haha).

  25. SO I have decided to finally comment on your page...after following you for over a year now.

Hi! I'm Adelaide. And my blog is sad and pitiful and just barely starting out, but you're actually one of my inspirations for keeping it going. I'm surprisingly jealous you live in Nashville. I used to drive through there loads of times on my way to school in North Carolina from Texas. Gorgeous town!

Ugh. So this is awkward. Anyway, hi there.
