Pip's First Snow!

As I stated earlier, we've managed to get our first real snow of the season. More often than not the first is also the last, but I'm thinking we're in store for some pretty white days this year! Georgia really really loves the snow. [I'll share a video from her first snow last year!] Pip is a July baby though so this year was her first! She gets cold easily so she'll have be bundled up from now on, but otherwise, she loves it! She and Georgia had so much fun! Of course we had to take an immense amount of photos! Here you go! Cute puppy snow spam!

After, of course, they curled up on the couch together for a snooze. They melt my heart!

Now, before you guys get all huffy puffy about the sincere lack of snow, just know that the mentioning of flurries sends people in Tennessee into a panic. No, we cannot drive for crap in the snow. Yes, we really do think the apocolypse is coming. Yes, we do get excited over an inch or two. Haha! We're Southern people!

Here's a video of Georgia's first snow last year. She had no idea what to think of it.

Hooray for cute pups! Do your animals like the snow?

PS; All images from our new Nikon D300s! We're love love loving it! It's so crisp and awesome. With that being said, our Nikon D40 [with new 18-55mm f3.5/56 VR lens] needs a new home! They go for $400-$500 online still used but we're only asking $350 and that includes domestic shipping! Email me [kaelahbee@gmail.com] if you're interested!  SOLD! Thanks for the interest, y'all!

  3. My Davey's first snow was last winter (he was born at the end of June last year). He loooooooves the cold and snow. He literally just dives in it. haha I have to force him to come inside. It gets really cold here in Michigan in the winter, sadly, so he can't stay out too long on bare paws.

Your girls look so happy & adorable. :D

  9. Awh, your babies are so precious and clearly enjoying themselves.

Where we lived in Europe we got tons of snow. My family's dog, Maple (chocolate lab) loves the snow. She would run like crazy and jump into snow drifts like she was swimming. Our dog Tyler, who passed, was a boston terrier and my sister would knit him ridiculous sweaters, read: sailor suit, and then we'd throw him into snow drifts and he hated it. But it was all good fun.

  10. Adorable!! Our puppy just experienced snow for the first time, too. He LOVES it! He had such a blast, but he's still a little baby and has thin little legs, so he gets cold really easily. I posted a video of him in the snow on my facebook page if you want to check out the cuteness! (http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=10150138400822004&comments) - yes, he's wearing green and red pj's haha.

  11. My dogs have a blast in the snow. That is unless it is super cold out. Here in Iowa during January and February it gets to be like -15 to -20 on many days. Poor puppy paws start to hurt and my beagle mix will just sit balanced on his rear with all four paws off the ground until we come pick him up and carry him inside. It's terribly sad because I can imagine how much it hurts to have frozen paws, but also ridiculously cute and funny.

  23. They both look SO adorable!! I love the pictures of them playing together! The picture of Georgia running is too funny! She looks like she is flying! :) Our fur babies love the snow as well! Jada, my boxer, just loves to run around in circles with her face in the snow and when she comes up to us she has a snow beard! lol.

  24. your babies are too cute! I live in Southeast Texas where its humid and our climate is subtropical most of the year, but the past 2 years in a row we've had snow that sticks and accumulates about an inch on the ground! Everybody gets so excited. My favorite memory of my puppy Sassy, who got hit by a car on my 18th birthday, is her eating the snow and slinging it on her brother scout!
