Rather than devote time to doing things that are responsible and productive (you know, planning a nursery and making a registry per request), I've been daydreaming about dressing this sweet new baby boy. To be honest, I just don't know where to start with the nursery or registry... it all feels so overwhelming. But I do know how to pick out a dream wardrobe! I spent some time yesterday perusing the internet and picking out a few of my favorite things while I was home alone (also watching Home Alone).
I know leggings are super trendy right now for baby wear, but I just love them. They seem so comfy and simple. Same came be said for handmade leather shoes (like the moccasins). I'm all for quality, handmade items, but I'm also all about not breaking the bank. Some of my picks are handmade treasures while the others are big box store pieces. I was amazed at how affordable all of H&M's baby clothes were! Seriously, leggings, bodysuits and pants are 3 for $12 right now.
A lot of my family and friends had expressed early hope that Baby Flynn would be a girl because they wanted to see how I'd dress her. I'm just as stoked (if not more so) to dress a precious baby boy. At first I was worried that cute boy clothes didn't exist, but a little digging goes a long way. I also had a few friends say what a treat it'd be to save money on boy clothes, since girl clothing is traditionally much more expensive. Sadly I haven't found that to be true yet! haha Then again if this baby had been a girl I'm sure I'd be eyeball deep in dresses already, so maybe that's a good thing! At least I'm taking my time on his wardrobe :P
Here are a few of my favorite things: 1 - Little Hip Squeaks // 2 - Little Hip Squeaks // 3 - The Coral Pear // 4 - Freshly Picked // 5 - Happy And The Hectic // 6 - Tribe is Alive // 7 - H&M // 8 - H&M // 9 - Baby Gap // 10 - Candy Kirby Designs // 11 - H&M // 12 - H&M // 13 - Baby Gap // 14 - Target // 15 - Target // 16 - Ebay // 17 - RockKandyKids // 18 - Old Navy // 19 - Old Navy // 20 - BugnBee // 21 - Fable Baby via Chicky Pop // 22 - The Wishing Elephant

H&M carries a lot of pretty stuff for girls and I also really like Carter's, it's affordable and trendy. Whistle & Flute is the cutest!
ReplyDeleteSO glad you said something about H&M's 3 for $12. My son NEEDS summer clothes so badly, and like you said, I'm not one to break the bank. I had to fork over $40 for my son's shoes. FORTY DOLLARS. I don't even spend that much on my own shoes. But his fat feet and ankle rolls unfortunately require name brand shoes.
ReplyDeleteH&M also has a great 3 for $12 deal on toddler tees too, I think! Sadly the Nashville location doesn't even carry half of the stock, but thank goodness you can order online now!
DeleteI've been giggling over "please don't kill my vibe" as well as both the tattoo shirts! Super cute!
ReplyDeleteThe "Please don't kill my vibe" onsie is killin' me! Ahhh, I love it! But DANG girl, you are on a roll, haha! I'm lovin' every single piece. And you're totally right-- I doesn't have to be boring to dress a boy! As if a boy in your family would ever be a dull dresser! ;D

ReplyDeleteThose little moccasins are so cute. Love handmade shoes for babies. The black onesies with the Tattoo logos are absolutely adorable! I must tell my friend who is expecting a boy about those.
This wardrobe really is a dream- if I had a little boy he'd rock it all!
ReplyDeleteI am LOVING H&M clothes for my little man. I've actually enjoyed dressing him more then my daughter. He's such the cutest little hipster boy. Dresses are fun but they are so impractical once a baby starts crawling and walking. I think the other part that is making dressing my son fun is that it's all clothes that I picked out. Where as for my daughter, my first, everyone went crazy picking out clothes for her so when I dressed her as a baby I never felt like it was my style. Where as for a boy everyone thinks boy clothes are "boring" so people didn't send us hardly any clothes and got us other things instead, which I actually preferred.
ReplyDeleteThat little hat slays me! I love baby boy clothes. So much fun. :)
