Stitch Fix : Box #11

I know I've skipped over box #10 but I kept everything in it (Spoiler!) so I'm trying to find time to make a video to talk about them. They're kind of the best things ever haha I really want to touch base on why Stitch Fix is such a rad thing (Yeah yeah, I know. You can totally skip over it when I finally post it, don't worry!) Here's the box I received last week. There's something new happening over at SF so I'm going to share more of that below! I'm not going to spend any time really going on and on about the products. Just going to show you what they are, how much they cost, and a single thought on the photo :)
Now here's where I start explaining about the new deal over at Stitch Fix... They're now partnering with different brands to bring you a Duo-package! I got a package with Benefit and I received this turquoise dress in a pretty box with this lipgloss. I think the lipgloss was a perfect accent for this bold dress, and I'm seriously wearing the lipgloss everywhere. The duo packages are special because the items in the box are discounted significantly. This dress alone was originally $99, so if you added that to a $16 lipgloss, you end up saving $46 with Stitch Fix! Pretty spiffy.

Overall this box wasn't my favorite, but mainly because the prints were a little bit too wild for my taste. That much pattern typically doesn't look very good with my tattoos. I don't want to look "muddy" if that makes any sense? But the purse was darling and even though it's small, I'll probably be sporting it soon! Also - this was the first time I've ever received a purse in my Fix. (New thing maybe?) I'd love to get more as handbags are something I really love trading out. As always, if you want to give Stitch Fix a go yourself, feel free to snag an invitation to join! I'm maybe only a little bit into it ;P

Now I'm going to go battle this summer cold I feel coming on with some delicious pomegranate raspberry green tea that Mike just made me.

  8. You've got me so intrigued over this 'mail box' craze! How amazing to get a whole box full of fun items. Very cool. I'm just getting over a summer cold myself, so glad the worst is over. Feel better!

  9. No offence, but this way of showing off your stitch fixes is much easier for the readers, especially with the many you get per month. Definitely try to do it this way more often while sharing new offers from your subscription boxes!

(Not trying to sound cocky, just letting you know its an easier way of going about sharing "these" posts, for yourself and us readers.)

    1. Very glad to hear it's better received this way. I honestly prefer this over droning on about each piece so I think this method is a keeper :) Thanks for the comment!

  16. i actually love the 2nd dress, it's really my kind fit :D

the thing is, everything here seems really expensive. honestly, i'd only spend 65$ on a dress if it's top quality.

  17. That first dress is definitely something my sister would wear in the summer time.

I could probably pull off the shirt dress with this cute white weaved belt I recently picked up.

As for the peacock dress, that would be lovely with a white half sleeve cardigan.

That bag is lovely. And I love the overall look of that turquoise dress.

I hope you kick that cold and enjoyed the (incredibly delicious sounding) tea!

    2. If you were anywhere near the shoe store I work at... you'd be in trouble! Plenty of shoes (chunky heels and flats) as well as purses that may catch your eye. :D

  19. Some of those prints are awfully loud, but I'm sure they would look great as prints or something of that nature! I think the double packaged things are fun, especially if it's lip gloss and dresses! Hope you feel better soon!

  20. Sounds like you had an equal amount of "Hits & Misses". I'm really interested in that lip gloss! The packaging is fantastic :) Thanks for sharing!

  23. You inspired me to try stitchfix for myself and I loooove it! I just got the cutest skirt and a dress that is perfect for me To wear to a job interview next week - it was like a wish come true! Being able to try everything on in the comfort of my own home is amazing - no awful dressing room neon lights/ heat lamps making me look like a sweaty troll in the mirror! :] thank you for sharing this awesome service! I love to see what you get too because it's always so different than what's in my box.

  24. It's funny, I actually like the first dress the best! Haha, I would totally wear that. Let's split the items in this box ;)

  25. LOL! I love Steph, THE-LOUDMOUTH, above! (I really try not to read what other people write, but her icon is so noticeable, I just happened to notice it!) She is certainly one of my fav bloggers and bloggy friends! Anyways, I would see all your Stitch Fix posts and think to myself "Such cute dresses and stuff!" But I don't want to spend that much....And finally after another post or two, I decided to check it out,and so I signed up! I guess they cater to how much you want to spend. I can't wait to see what they pick for me! Sometimes it's just too much for me to shop in stores or Goodwill...It's tiring! But thanks for introducing me to Stitch Fix and I love all of your Stitch Fix choices! -Jessica L
