Little Chief Honeybee

On Monday Mike and I made a date day of a trip to the laundromat. Maybe that sounds silly... but we did! We snapped some outfit shots outside the building while our clothes were washing. Sounds so silly. The weather has been so cold and weird in Nashville as of late. Overcast skies, cold winds, and a lot of rain. Not a fan. I'm ready for sunshine and warm breezes. Of course it'll probably fast forward straight into 100 degree temperatures. Speaking of 100 degree temperatures, I'm going to my first Hot Yoga class tonight. I'm terrified honestly, but also excited. It's on my 23 before 24 list and yesterday's Groupon was an unlimited month for only $49. Elle and I snagged it up, and Kelley, too! Ready for some sweatin'! It's a 75 minute class tonight so cross your fingers for me!

This dress is my Little Chief Honeybee dress from ModCloth's Blogger of the Moment hoopla. I've only worn it that once so it was time to break it out and pair it with something new. I really liked it with these cranberry tights and fascinator that I whipped up. I love that sweet little dress!

It's been busy around the hive lately so I'll be sure to pop back in with a fun wedding (or anytime) DIY that I think you might like later! xo

  3. I tried to do hot yoga once and I almost passed out! I spent about half the class just sitting on my mat so I wouldn't swoon.

But I'm notoriously swoony, so I'm sure you'll be fine. Have fun!

  4. hahah I love how you convinced him to photograph you outside the Laundromat. I like to treat little things like that like they are adventures too and my boyfriend is always like "What's wrong with you?? Why do you want me to take your picture outside of McDonalds?" I need to find more friends like you who want to photograph the world.

Love those tights!! I love the way your colors always make your hair accessories stand out. =)

  7. i live in NC and the weather here has been equally bad. I can't wait for it to get closer to summer. sigh, but it will be 100 degrees like you said.
the hot yoga is amazing!!! before i was pregnant i did it 4 times a week (cause i had a groupon, too!) and i felt amazing! you def shed pounds, sleep better and feel better! just stick with it, because it is HARD at first. but you will see how fast you get flexible!

  15. Yoga has been my newest edition to my daily routine.
I love it! It took me a bit to find an instructor that I liked though.
I want to try hot yoga after I get really good at standard yoga, I don't know if I can handle the heat! *brushes sweat off just thinking about it*

Good luck and have tons of funn!

  16. Those cranberry tights go so well with that cute bag Mike bought you and your dress! Love it! I cannot wait for the day that tuition isn't eating a hole through my paychecks so I can freshen up my closet!

This post and all the talk of your new shop made me immediately start craving my favorite local beer - Hive by Uinta - http://www.uintabrewing.com/FourBeersView.aspx?Page=HIVE - it's nice when a product with cute packaging tastes as good as it looks.

Plus I think it's pretty awesome that one of my favorite drinks and one of my favorite bloggers are forever related in my mind now :)

  18. I've never heard of hot yoga, but it sounds pretty intense! Just bring some water bottles with you and don't overwork yourself.

You look absolutely beautiful for your laundry mat date!
