Wedding Wednesday! (Belated!)

Man oh man! I can't keep up with the days! This whole "having Monday off" thing is really throwing my brain for a loop! So I bring you the belated Wedding Wednesday post. I should just move everything down a day (Mixtape Tuesday, Things I Love Friday, etc) but that wouldn't sound right! BTW, you can click on the heart under the photos for the source! The source credits all photographers, vendors, and brands for the wedding gowns, etc! Anyway...

Hello gorgeous! These dresses are so whimsical and dreamy! I can picture the most beautiful ginger-haired gal in them! (The natural, gorgeous shade of red that I had always wished I were born with!)

()
How cute of a surprise are those boots underneath her dress?! So lovely!

()
Fantastic floral and prop styling! Imagine a dreamy beach dinner with the water rushing up over your toes while they're digging in the sand!

A Texas wedding with the backdrop of my dreams!

()
A dreamy little wedding where the details are to die for!

And last but most certainly not least... I just advise all of you to stop whatever it is you're doing and focus solely on the beautiful inspiration shoot for this (fictional) picnic wedding! Purple is such a hard color to work into a wedding during certain times of the year but you'd never think that when you saw this! Absolutely jaw dropping.

()
Drooling yet? Seriously incredible.

And for the weekly wedding question: Dresses! Often seen as one of the most important facets of a bride's big day! What style of dress are you fond of? What would you like to (or what did you) sport down the aisle? Princess skirt? Mermaid? Stark White vs. Ivory? Lace or Beading? Or just a simple little white sundress to keep it casual? Let's hear them all!

xoxo

  1. I loveee looking at wedding dresses, it's such a fun thing to do. I have always loved the look of ballgowns, but it's not very practical for my body shape. Ruching is gorgeous, and I think lace can look really nice. As for colour, I think it depends on the dress but I really do like the look of off-whites.

    Some that I love!:

  2. I love your wedding Wednesdays! I just bought my dress 3 weeks ago and now I am completely stuck on what kind of shoes I should wear:(
...I don't know about those boots...but this post DID inspire me to waste the rest of my work day looking for shoes.

  3. Shoes are something I know absolutely nothing about, but for my wedding, I want something comfortable, and awesome. Since they'll be hidden, I might snag some converse all-stars for my big day!

  5. I was banned from wearing my pink DMs or my trainers under my wedding dress - i wasn't even allowed to wear my converse which would have been cool lol.

i love that top dress on the left hand side - reminds me of like Pride and Prejudice mixed with Alice in Wonderland - I have no idea why though lol.

  6. We're getting married on the beach (Tybee Island) in less than two months. I am keeping it simple and wearing this dress in white:

and carrying a bouquet of sunflowers.

The dress even has pockets, which just makes me soooo happy.

  7. I am partial to, what I would consider universally flattering, an a-line dress. My biggest peeve these days is strapless. There are so many different neck lines out there yet everyone, even if its horribly unflattering, goes for strapless. Personally, I'd love to even maybe have 3/4 sleeves.

I've seen a few brides around the web wearing really great flashy flats! Makes sense.

  10. Here's my dress. I suck at being a girl so I wanted something simple and felt like me. It was the first one I tried on.

  12. I just got married last October and I had a dress that was cut somewhere between an a-line and a ballgown, it was "pale gold" and had crystal, cream colored beads on the bodice. It was strapless, laced up the back and had lots of rouging on the skirt.
I love my wedding dress. <3

I vote for that first photo with the blue ribbon around the waist, that would look lovely on you!

  15. My dress was white, full skirt and large bottom/train, slight bustle and lovely boned bodice with straps (looked amazing with or without straps), the dress lady nearly cried when she saw me in it and it fitted like a glove, unfortnatly i never got to wear it-my fiancee walked out on me on Christmas eve :-(
But it felt amazing to be able to wear such an amazing dress, at least i know what im looking for next time :-)
    xx
