Tattoo Tuesday

Today I'm focusing solely on Traditional Tattoos as they're my most favorite style. All of the ones featured have click-through sources.

I know everyone doesn't like tattoos, but for those of you who do, what is your favorite style and why? American Traditional, Neo-Traditional, Japanese, Realistic, Abstract, etc? Can't wait to hear!

xoxo

PS; For those who didn't notice, I now have a Facebook Fan Page for Little Chief Honeybee! You can click over on the left-hand sidebar to become a fan! (I don't know how I honestly feel about this, but it was a blogger workbook suggestion and I thought I'd try it! My Facebook friends aren't my usual audience so hopefully I don't end up deleting it! haha By the way, if you try to add me on Facebook and I don't know you personally or you don't send me a message, I won't add you! I'm contemplating deleting anyone I don't know in real life, simply because I hate Facebook and I never use the darn thing anyway!)

  1. I'm a fan of American Traditional. I have a classic "Sailor Jerry" piece on my back. But I'm also a big fan of Peter Aurisch, atm. You can find him on Myspace--German tattoo artist located in Berlin. His work is phenomenal in a very modern/classic way. I just love it and hope to be tattooed by him soon!

  2. beautiful! Im definitely a traditional tattoo girl myself. While all of my work might not exactly be traditional, its done to that style.

  8. I really like the old school style but with a modern take. Lots of colours that pop with nice thick black outlines.

  9. I am a big fan of tattoos in general! I have two traditional swallows on my wrists, birds in progression of flight across the left side of my chest, and a cherry blossom branch across my back from my left hip to my right shoulder. I always thought I would get tattoos with a lot of color, but the only color I have is in the cherry blossoms.

  11. I adore traditional tattoos! I love old Sailor Jerry tattoos. I was going to get an anchor a while back, since I'm from Anchorage and my dad's side of the family are fishermen, but I'm waiting. I dated a boy in the Navy and thought we were going to get married, so the Anchor means some other stuff too that I'm waiting to wear off.

  13. Smaller ones I think - I think if you're going to have one on your hand or wrist then it's gotta be just right.

I will be sure to look out for your facebook group :)

  17. I like most kinds of tattoos except for Tribals(no meaning what so ever), chinese signs(on people who ain't chinese or doesn't know chinese/love the culture) and the rose on the shoulder.
But I dislike them because people got them because it was in fashion.
