Pushing Daisies

I've really been getting into Pushing Daisies on Netflix as of late. I finished Season 1 last night and I'm working my way up on Season 2. I wish it still came on! The styling is spot on and the story line of the Piemaker and dear Chuck is the sweetest thing. There is floral print EVERYWHERE! Wallpaper, bed linens, upholstered furniture! Glorious! Plus Kristin Chenoweth is in it and I just love her! I really wish I could see her and Sean Hayes in Promise, Promises on Broadway before heading back to Tennessee later this week.

Does anyone else watch (or watched in the past) Pushing Daisies? If not, you should give it a try! I'm really loving it thus far! (And someone get me Chuck's wardrobe STAT! I'm in LOVE!)

I promise a proper personal entry tomorrow! My week/weekend has been rather unproductive and unexciting, but I can show you my lovely goodies from the Fred Flare store in Brooklyn and some sweet new 1Aeon digs that I shot in Prospect Park on Friday. :)

xoxo

  4. I watched this whole series last summer and fell in love with it. When I cut bangs into my hair last fall (and my hair was still brown back then) my brother used to call me Chuck, haha! I want pretty much everything Chuck wears in that show. And, I could definitely go for a Ned and a Digby.

  14. Oh I looooooove Pushing Daisies. Everytime I watch it I get this craving for some of those yummy looking pies the piemaker and Chuck make. I so can't understand why it was cancelled. Everyone seemed to have loved it.

  15. OMG I started watching it right away when it first started airing in Canada (late 2007/2008). But then I moved out of the student housing and because of no access to a tv stopped watching and forgot all about it over time. I am still catching up with Gossip Girl, sounds childish, I know, but this is definitely gonna be my next one. Thanks for reminding me Kaelah.

  22. It was so disappointing when this show was cancelled. The style was just whimsical enough to emphasize the "Bedtime story for grownups" motif and I loved it.
