♥ i've been using Jux for the past few weeks... i love it! ♥
Jux is an HD photo/mini-blog sharing site. It's like Tumblr but minus the drama + clutter (in my opinion). I love that it's super minimal and very editorial. I've been sharing my favorite personal photos and quotes! You can find mine HERE!

Other Awesome Stuff:
// Elle is having a huge $150 giveaway over at her stationary biz, Jam + Toast! You could win custom invites for your big day (or any day!). Like J+T on Facebook and if they reach 500 fans everyone gets 25% off! If they reach 1000 fans then everyone gets 50% off! Help my BFF out!

// I LOVE these old-timey "circus freak" portraits taken by Charles Eisenmann in the 1860's.

// This cat is cuddling with a reptile. And this raccoon is hugging this cat. There are 4 gifs each. You need to watch them.

//  So many cats in this post, I know! BUT... this cat has been the mayor of an Alaskan town for fifteen years!

// The "11 Things" meme is still floating around the interweb and Rachel just posted hers! I love reading all of this stuff about people.
If you limit your choices only to what seems possible or reasonable, you disconnect yourself from what you truly want, and all that is left is compromise.” - Anais Nin
// If you only read one thing in this entire post, please let it be this. This was such a powerful post about Planned Parenthood. If it doesn't make you feel a little bit better about the world then nothing will.

// This is the coolest origami I've ever seen. Using currency from around the world to create "hats" for the person on the bill.

// I am 110% into this outfit from Marisa. The orange + sky blue are beautiful together! And I really watch that clutch.
“Feminism is itself a challenge. Feminism is a challenge to the way things are in the world. It is by definition an oppositional movement, because it’s trying to accomplish something. I’ve never felt like feminism was a consciousness raising effort in isolation. Everything about feminism is about getting something in the world to get better for women, and to get the world to be less stupid on gender bifurcation terms. I think that feminism over time gets better, or it gets better and worse and better and worse at achieving the goals that it’s trying to achieve, but the overall mission stays the same. I guess I don’t think of it as feminism versus anti-feminism; I sort of think of it as feminism versus the world. I don’t think of it as a competition; there’s no winning. In feminism, you’re always trying to make stuff better. It’s opposition to which you cannot attribute a tally.”
// Roxy shared a Stovetop Espresso recipe on her blog!

  27. So much to be said about all of this! First off, I absolutely adore Bulldogs and hope to have one of my own someday, so it's always nice when you post cute photos of them! Also, I hope to make a solid effort at Yoga soon. I could really use the balance and would love to be more flexible/ fit. About Chris Brown- YES. How can he be comfortable writing songs about love when he promotes a world of hate? Oh and thank you for posting on Feminism. It's great to find another blogger so passionate about it. I'm going to be integrating articles on that subject soon... after all there is so much left to say on the matter, right? ;P

I'm definitely going to check out JUX. I know what you mean about drama and clutter on Tumblr. But I'd love to link up with you on there any way! :)

Thanks for this post- these are always my favorite :)

  28. THAT WOMAN JUST INSPIRED ME TO GET UP OFF MY BUTT AND DO YOGA! GAAAHHH

i love yoga so much, but usually i come up with any excuse not to do it. idk why... why do people do that? the mind is such a powerful tool, and usually it's used for evil lol.

    anyway- thanks for it.

also that couple tattoo is just beautiful. hope you're well :)

  29. I work in a yoga studio, and will still have a few people in their late 80s that come to class regularly! I hope I'm doing yoga past my 70s. It keeps your body feeling young!
