Things I Love Thursday



I feel like Thursdays come at warp speed. They're kind of like my Sundays in regard to work. Fridays sneak up on me like a bad cold. Still, it's fun to round up a bunch of pretty things to share with you here on Thursdays. I try to not post too many of them onto my Tumblr, but a few slip through no doubt. I'm an impatient person but anyway, here's this week's installment! xo

Other Awesome Things: The PadMapper app for the iPhone (and padmapper.com!) The perfect website to show apartments/houses for rent via CraigsList but on a map! It's an amazing website if you have a wanderlust heart like me (thanks to Kelli for the tip several months ago!) ♥ Getting Honeybean designer goods in the mail! I can't wait to stock the shoppe full of them! ♥ Making a ton of new hairpieces for Hive + Honey ♥ Having a fire in my heart to make Honeybean a success and to open a brick and mortar ♥ Daydreaming about a quaint town and our little house, a small garden and a backyard for the pups. I can't wait! ♥ Getting my other shin tattooed tomorrow! Then it's on to color!

No window shopping this week! Just way too busy! What are you loving this week, Honeybees?!

    I love the shower cartoon. That's not how mine goes, though. Mine is 27 minutes of me going, "mmmmmmmmmmAAAAAAARGHmmmmmmmmAAAAAARGH!" as my neighbours flush toilets and run taps and generally make my water pressure drop!

    Ahahahaha! That Kip costume with the Lawfonduh (did I spell that right?) sign! I'm sitting here on my couch laughing my head off at it, and even called my mom over to look at it and she is now laughing like crazy as well. Too hilariously cute. :D

    And someday, I will dye my hair pink like that. Mmhmm. :)

    I laughed out loud when I saw the Kipp costume for the little kid. AMAZING! And the shower one - so true. Except for if I try to take a short shower, I get into panic mode and then forget to do something essential like wash my hair because I'm too busy quickly shaving my legs. haha!

    I LOVE padmapper! I used it in April and May when I was still living in British Columbia to find our apartment in Edmonton. It worked out wonderfully! Our landlord is great, the location is perfect and right in the neighborhood we wanted!
    The best part is that they have an iPhone app! (:

I might be emailing you in the next few weeks to ask your advice on starting up a business as having a brick and mortar shop is my dream, as well, and I'm so impressed by all the work you've been doing on the Honey Bean lately! Your courage amazes me. Even the idea of starting my shop makes me want to run and hide! >.<
