// Have y'all heard about Threads from Shop It To Me? Here's an invite if you want to come check it out! I'm excited!

// Here are some really captivating photos from the protests in Turkey.

// Wishlist Wears: this adorable "siren" ring! // this polka dot betsey dress! // this "forest trio" of earrings - if you can wear studs, you need these! // this leather and chevron clutch! // the perfect gingham dress for summer // i love the funky color palette on this chevron-inspired dress // the most whimsical dress i've ever seen // coral + orange shoes // okay this dress trumps all! all of your other dresses can go home now...

// Want to share your real life style steals and possibly win $750?! Chippmunk is hosting an "Expert Shopper" sweepstakes - all you gotta do is upload a photo of your fashion find! Click here to check it out!

// Kristina is the cutest girl ever and she did a vintage 1940's hairflip tutorial. Too bad my hair will never stay straight (and it's long/thin) BUT... her execution was perfect!

// Leigh-Ann sent over this Mean Girls parody ("Mean Gurlz") the other day, and it's hilarious. MG is one of my favorite movies (love me some Tina Fey!)

// I'm super into unique styles of illustration, and Tera has it down! I'm a little bit obsessed with the monster she drew.

// This is the best thing ever... a Texas dad poses his daughter as influential women to help break stereotypes. The pictures are beautiful!

// Someone road trip with me to Amanda's place to take loads of photos because the atmosphere and scenery are absolutely incredible.

// Trying to avoid the dreaded (and seemingly inevitable) summer-induced chub rub? Dude... these!

// I really love reading other people's link lists each week, and this one was no different! // Karen also found some really great gems this week!

// Oh my stars! What I wouldn't do to have this hammock in my yard...

// Datevitation is giving away $200 cash! And you get a free entry for being a LCH subscriber! Check it out below....

  7. I LOVE your blog, and LOVE things I love Thursday, so I hate to be all "you got this wrong", but I figured you'd appreciate knowing. The photographer who posed her daughter as influential women, Jaime Moore, is the girl's mother, not her father. I've actually seen the mistake made elsewhere around the internet, so you're not the only one. She does have a particularly androgynous name.

But isn't it an awesome story!? And great photos.
