Turquoise & Caicos - Kaelah Bee
I'm pretty much in love with turquoise and mint right now. It's never been a hue I gravitated toward, but ever since getting this dress in the mail I've been smitten. I styled this dress up a couple weeks back (remember this?) and this time I wanted to keep it more monochromatic. I had a pair of mint flats in mind, but thought that might be a little too much, ya know what I mean? haha I played it safe with the same white belt as last time, but I can't help but feel like this dress has so much potential! I'm loving the different color combinations I can dream up just by swapping out the cardigan or necklace. These photos show the texture and detailing of the dress a little better than the last post. It's such a gorgeous dress. I keep trying to imagine how I'll transition it into Autumn and Winter. It might be a stretch, but I'll make it work!

Yesterday I finally got around to ordering some business cards to have on hand at WWDMAGIC later this month. Seriously, I've been blogging at LCH for over four years and I never made any business cards. I have them for Honeybean and they have my blog address on them, so I never thought it was a big deal. But I'm almost out of those, too. Instead of doing an ultra "brand" related card, I whipped up a super minimalistic calling card. They'll be much more "timeless" than a layout-driven design anyway. Plus I just wanted an excuse to use the phrase "Let's get weird" haha! Yeah, that's totally on my cards. I'm stoked.

Speaking of WWDMAGIC... Are any of you Las Vegas based?! Or will any of you be in town for MAGIC or POOL?! I can't wait to meet some of the other ladies on the blogging "team" but I'd also love to meet any of y'all that'll be around! I have no clue what to expect (in terms of tradeshow or Vegas) but I'm excited. It'll be a fun little trip!

Now I'm going to get a move on it. I've got sale diggin' to do! This girl has a 4 year old to outfit for school and it's tax free weekend here in Tennessee! Looks like I'll be throwing elbows tomorrow and lunging for skinny jeans and backpacks. I can't wait!

  2. LOVE THIS! I think it's one of my faves I've ever seen on you! The color combination is one of my all-time favorites, too, although I tend to do turqoise and cobalt blue rather than mint.. maybe I should take a page from your book!

  5. I'd say.... tights, boots, and a mustard cardigan would put you right in fall/winter mode. You can make that flimsy lace work for winter! It's a gorgeous dress and it shouldn't be put away, haha.

  9. I love love love that dress and the color combination! Your JCP finds are inspiring me to go check them out and see if there are any good sales or steals. I always love outfit posts. I think yours are my favorite on the interweb mainly because I have similar taste and because you mix high end and low end brands. Love it!
