Hi little honeybees! Today my fire for blogging has returned and it's burning brighter than ever! The past few days/weeks I've really felt in a funk but after a truly inspiring brainstorming session with Mike, I feel like I'm ready to take on the world! I'm writing down blog ideas and business ideas and I just have so much I would truly love to do! But while I'm on a roll, I wanted to ask you all if you had any requests for LCH?
Don't worry, a loft tour will most certainly happen! We're working on it! ;) Aside from that, are there any posts you'd love to see me tackle? I've had requests for how I stay positive and a few DIY ideas, but I'm all ears! I want to create content that is pertinent to my life, but also interesting for you all as well! I'd love to hear your thoughts! More lifestyle stuff? Less lifestyle stuff? Let a girl know!

PS: Wedding Wednesdays WILL be about our wedding and plans once we start actually planning! Right now we're relishing in being engaged, and the tentative date for the wedding is roughly September 2012. Don't worry, I won't be able to stop posting about it once we start! xo
yay so glad to hear you have some pezaz back - although sorry you have been in a bit of a funk. it's great you have loads of new ideas at the moment. i can't think of anything specific that i would like to see on the blog - you seem to provide the perfect mix! if i do think of anything though i'll surely let you know x
ReplyDeleteI like your blog the way it is! My favorite features are Things I Love Thursday and your outfit posts, and although I'm not a huge fan of weddings myself, I love that you do that post each week because of how much YOU love it! :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see more DIY too (and definitely the loft tour!) Also this is going to incredibly odd but maybe a tutorial on how to put on a wig? I know you have longer hair, and for the life of me I can't figure out how to tuck mine in the wig cap without having a huge giant lump showing when I put on the wig? But yours always look like they're laying perfectly so I thought maybe you know the secret? I'm sorry if that was one of those intrusive weird questions like with the tattoos, I really don't mean it to be! :)
I'm a DIY fanatic! I'd love to see some work or tutorials. And hey since you're planning a wedding... maybe some DIY wedding junk! Love your blog!

I really love your outfit posts (as always) and when you post your personal designs (whether it be graphic designs, blog headers you do on commission, or when you show new things in your Etsy shop).
ReplyDeleteSomething interesting might be blogging about your personal experience of creating your brand and the process of getting a business license, creating your products, selling them, etc.
Also, maybe you could refocus Wedding Wednesday into something that is more personal: your own wedding! I know it's not for awhile but it would be cool to see that process as well. :]

ReplyDeleteI think it would be great to have a feature where readers sent in photos of clothing and you posted what you would wear it with or how you would style or accessorize it. It would be a great way to inspire your wardrobe as well as your readers. Who knows, we might even start a new trend! I just know that sometimes I can't think of a different way to wear something I've had forever and it would be great to get some new ideas. Free shopping! lol

Hmm... I am also curious as to how you put an outfit together. Like how do you pick which cardigan to wear, which belt, etc? Maybe a video on that?

I really do love how your blog is already, but if you'd like to add a little here and there...and maybe tackle some new ideas, how about a "What we did..." kind of post? to showcase your new environment. I know you and Mike would do wonderful in this department to share TN...or more so, the area where you're living. Also, I can not wait to see what you and Mike have brewed up! I'm sure it's going to be AWEsome! :)
ReplyDeleteThe DIY stuff is definitely cute, and I love the outfit posts. It's nice just to hear how you're doing and see how happy you are - I prefer more 'personal' posts than TILT/Sunday Spotlight etc. Definitely think it's good to have the mix though.
ReplyDeleteRead through the comments and saw a couple about other people sending in outfits - think it could be a good idea, though could easily turn into people just loading you with pictures to get your approval, so to speak.

ReplyDeleteOther than spaces, I have been really interesting in how others keep up their studio spaces ,and generally how they are inspired by their space. So studio space is my input.
If I had put two and two together about you liking bee pins, I could have sent you one of mine that I don't get many chances to wear. oh oh oh, sneaky plans! Muahahh.

I think that you are an amazing inspiration and (I think) what separates you from a lot of other bloggers in the same vein is that you seem to support yourself. You (don't seem) to come from money or have a husband or parents who pay for everything, you seem to work for what you have. I would love a post on how you go about setting out a plan and goals and actually achieving them. I'm not asking you to get specific about money but more about you set goals and work on making them happen. How you plan, because you seem to be a great planner and you seem to get things done! Just seeing you set goals and achieve them is amazing and I want to know how you do that magic that you do. I am someone who rarely plans and when I do I don't follow through or I never have the money or I blow it. Just things on that. Like a mentor thing? Does that make sense? You just amaze me and I want to know how to achieve my goals and dreams and I’m sure others would feel the same way!
