ReplyDeleteThose cookies!!! I saw the video of them being decorated on Fb last week and was legit hypnotized for several minutes!!! How would you ever be able to eat that ?!???
ReplyDeleteI remember Andrea Yates' story when it happened and then a few years ago I watched a documentary about it and I felt very sorry for her but extremely sad for how she could one by one drown her children. . .that is a lot of them to do that to without saying, "I'm done now." so she definitely suffered greatly. I do believe that more women need help when they go through this. I think I suffered from it after my first child and it made it worse for me when they kept him for an extra two days and sent me home without him because he had to be put under the lights for his jaundice. I was really sad and then I suffered a lot from not knowing what to do with being a new mom with no one to help me and no friends and not getting when he would cry all the time. . . it was really hard and looking back I really believe I had PPD but in my pride was afraid to say anything. My husband mentioned it to me when I gave birth the second time and he saw how much different I was compared to the first time (much much better) that he said, "I think you had post postpartum depression last time....I'm sorry. I didn't know." SO yeah definitely liked this video. I never wanted to hurt my baby but I would shut him in the bedroom and let him cry and would scream in his face to be quiet and go to sleep. . .I was so angry and I now hold him and think, "How sad it was in that first year of your life...." I never told anyone this though so HI! Here's my story haha.
