If you love hot chocolate, and you'd like an adult-friendly version of it, look no further! This is hands down the best cold-weather cocktail. Ever. There's an average amount of alcohol in it, but you don't even taste it! (Dangerous!) The buttery, hot taste warms you up from the inside out. I have a feeling Mike and I will be drinking these all winter!
Hot Butterscotch Cocoa
serves one
1oz butterscotch schnapps
1oz coffee liqueur
5oz hot milk
Chocolate cocoa (single serving pouch)
Whipped cream
Chocolate shavings
Heat up your milk to your desired temperature (we heated it on the stove for several minutes, but you can also microwave) and mix in your hot cocoa powder. Stir until it has completely mixed. Add your butterscotch and coffee liqueurs, then transfer into a desired drinking mug. Top it off with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Then enjoy!
You can always add more alcohol or more milk to taste. To me, this was the perfect balance of a cold weather classic and a cocktail! Let me know if you try it! xo
Oh my goodness this look and sounds so darn good!! I'll definitely be making this over the winter season!

Sounds wonderful, and not what I was expecting when I opened the post!
