// 21 things my father never told me. I loved this so so much.

// Do you love Panera's Fuji Apple Chicken Salad like I do? Here's a copycat recipe!

// Want to know the DIY recipes to all of your favorite junk foods? Now you can!

// Unpopular opinion: I don't like Beyonce (or her overzealous fans). Aw snap! I know y'all are going to have an opinion about this! Let's hear it!

// Foodie Finds: blueberry bread pudding (!!!) // fresh strawberry yogurt cake (omg) // southwest black bean salad (my favorite thing to eat in the summer!) // cinnamon sugar pretzels // almond crusted baked eggplant

// There's a secret island where wild pigs swim in the ocean with humans! And I want to go there right NOW! (But let's be real, it's not exactly a secret island haha!)

// 9 times it's awkward to say "You, too."  THIS IS MY LIFE! EVERY TIME!

// Claire sent me one of these amazing bracelets and I managed to lose it while out shopping one day (boo!) but seriously, they're so dainty and gorgeous. Love her work! (And she's such a kind person!)

// OKCupid takes out full page web ad against Firefox. I kind of love that they did this. (Though I'll totally agree with others who have said OKC could do better by themselves, too, by offering a wider option of gender and sexual orientations on their profiles.)

  10. I liked how the "Examples of Rape Culture" article pointed out that there is so much effort to educate girls on "how not to get raped" but a blatant lack of education for boys on how to respect women.

I listened to a recording of Adam Savage telling the story of a talk he had with his young son about respecting women, especially in regards to internet porn. I was listening to it on my ipod on the subway and I had tears streaming down my face. It was the FIRST time I ever felt like a man came even close to understanding the hurt I feel when I see/hear about the things that exist in the world of internet porn. Here is the link if you want to check it out:

  11. That cat comic would be my son if the kitty wasn't so scared of him. He was playing with yarn today, though, and she totally sat still for some loves. So I guess yarn>personal safety. XDD
