// Nautical Mint - Maternity Style - 22 Weeks

Happy April! I hope everyone is having a lovely day so far! (And I hope you haven't been duped by anyone yet!) This is hands down one of my favorite outfits ever, and it just happens to be what I wore to the Cher concert last night. (I know, where are my sequins?!) I'll share more about the concert later, but right now I want to sing the praises of this amazing maternity dress. Y'all! There are so many amazing/comfy/cute maternity clothes out there. HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS?! I never in a million years would have expected this silhouette to suite my body shape, but I guess all I needed was a baby bump. I picked this up in the maternity section at Target the other day and I basically haven't taken it off since. I also bought it in black (so prepare to see that in the future!) because it's that comfortable. It's so stretchy so I know it'll be perfect for the remaining 4 months, too. At only $25, how could I say no?! I really love the bright mint cardigan with it, too. I keep thinking of ways to style it differently (red! orange! yellow!) so it might actually be a piece of clothing you see a lot of here. Hope that's okay haha Now I just need to have the heart to toss out these flats... Every time I wear them I talk about how busted they are. But I love to wear my staples to smithereens before giving them the ol' heave-ho. $10 well spent on these flats for sure.

Thanks for all of the birthday wishes the other day, too! So far 26 is shaping up to be pretty awesome. I had a great birthday on Sunday and an equally awesome day yesterday. Think I can keep up the trend for a little while longer? This week's weather has been amazing so far and I'm dying to get out in the yard. I think I might have said that in last week's post, too... We slept with the windows open last night and it was such a treat to wake up to our room flooding with sunshine and the sound of birds chirping like crazy. (Less awesome was the motorcycle revving next door at 7:30am, but hey, let's think positive). Toby is on Spring Break this week so we're filling our days with park time and baseball practices. His first games are this Saturday and I'm ready to see him in his little getup.

I've finally finished my 26 Before 27 list so I'll be sharing that one soon! I feel really really excited about this year's goals. Maybe wisdom comes with age because I feel like I didn't try to "out do" myself with this new set of intentions. Or maybe that's just me being lazy... Not sure yet. I'll let you know this time next year haha

I've honestly been in one of the best moods ever for the past few days and I'm crossing my fingers it sticks around. I know I joked about moving somewhere without Winter a few weeks ago but now that I realized how much the seasons have an affect on me, I'm really considering it (You know, as much as one can "really" consider it without actually doing it. Sigh.. One day!)

Today I'm starting a few new design projects and I'm really stoked to dive into some new work with some new clients. I need to do a design roundup soon so you can see what I've been working on. I've had the pleasure of collaborating with some of the absolute best gals and I'm loving the final products. Stay tuned for that... and more on Cher, too! Happy Tuesday! xo

  1. I didn't realize until I moved up North how the winter affected my mood. I was seriously down in the dumps this winter. And I feel a huge boost every sunny day we have (which is very few. Pittsburgh gets only about 20 days of full sun per year). So I'm really considering a move, myself! Someday~

    I adore your outfit! The dress is a new shape for you, but it looks so good! Really flattering! And I never would have thought of a nautical stripe/mint combo! Soooo cute!

  2. I agree with you 100% on the flats, once they are broken in they are so comfortable you never want to take them off! You look amazing in the pictures I hope I am half as pretty when I am preggo.

  10. Oh I totally get you on the maternity dresses (or clothes in general) front - when you find something that fits SO WELL, you just have to have it in a variety of colours and just keep on wearing it! This dress looks so comfortable, I'm actually a bit jealous - I live in stretchy leggings at the moment but would love to dress up a bit. You look blooming gorgeous!

  11. Every time I see your stylish prego pictures, it makes me want to get pregnant! I was a lazy bum and only wore yoga pants and t-shirts, but next time I plan on dressing cute ; )

  12. So cute! I'm totally jealous of your cute maternity stuff. Our winters are too cold for dresses & the 2 pairs of pants I did get were awful. The ones wouldn't stay up (even when I got HUGE) & the others fit great but when I got bigger & sweaty they were light colored so yeah it looked like I'd wet myself. :( I'm glad you're having better luck with maternity clothes. You look fabulous!!

  13. I know I don't comment enough on your blog even though I read it all the time. I just wanted to say that I LOVE this outfit on you. It's totally a different silhouette than you normally wear but I'm so into the VBO (visible belly outline), pregnant or not. <3 Go you!
