Hopefully my vision for our wedding is a little bit clearer! Mike is usually pretty game with the whole idea as we have very similar styles, but he knows that I've been dreaming up this very day since I was a little girl. I'm kind of nervous to actually *make* any plans though! I'm sure this happens to most brides... right? haha! Anyway, that's my Wedding Wednesday for today! Hopefully that will satisfy some of your desires about making it more personal! I promise, once we actually start planning things, I'll probably flood the blog in inspiration, questions, experiences, etc! xo
I'm so excited for you!! Planning is so fun, and I love the direction you're heading in! :)

ReplyDeleteSO pretty! Looks like the perfect wedding for you guys. Down to earth, intimate, and super playful. I'm so so happy for you! What are you most excited about planning? Dress? DIY decor? Food?
ReplyDeleteOhmygoodness, Kaelah... we have so many similar elements! I am also working on acquiring mismatched place settings and my bridesmaids will also not match! I think it's lovely! I am also a bit afraid to really start making plans myself, there are so many things to think about and I am afraid I will miss a perfect opportunity if I just barrel ahead... I want to refine my ideas first... but then again, that could take forever! haha
ReplyDeleteOMG that dress is gorgeous! I can totally picture you in it!
ReplyDeleteOh I really love the idea of mismatched bridesmaids dresses. And, the mason jars.. I like that idea. It's unique and cute! :]
ReplyDeleteI'm really loving reading these Wedding Wednesday posts, especially when they're about y'alls wedding! :]

ReplyDeleteI wish you the best.
I am totally not a wedding-person, but looking at these photos makes me wish that I knew someone that would get married and throw this kind of party! These photos are gorgeous and make the whole thing actually look kinda fun.
ReplyDeleteahhh i LOVE all these photos! that lace wedding dress is AHmazing! my best friend is engaged and i am having so much fun looking at inspiration for it!
ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous gorgeous ideas, exactly the kind of feel id like for my wedding (add in a few lights, candles and bunting and it's perfect!).
ReplyDeleteI love the dress! xxxx
I love your wedding inspiration posts they are so beautiful. Think I'm going to have to make a wedding inspiration board for myself on pinterest!
ReplyDeleteI think your wedding will be beautiful. I think I understand how you feel about making concrete plans though. You dream about it for so long that you are afraid your concrete decisions won't live up to the dream or that once you pick a path its no longer just endless possibility but the field narrows and then you end up with a real thing. (at least, thats how I felt. It was so hard to make those first few choices) But when I stood at the back of the museum (yes, museum, not church) and looked at Ben standing up there waiting for me I knew it was a perfect day. Yours will be perfect too. Because you are you and because you love him.
ReplyDeletei love all of your inspirations!!!! i wish i could be your wedding florist!!!!
ReplyDeleteI sometimes wish I could go back and have a "real" wedding but I bet even if I did I'd have so many more ideas that I'd be in love with. I suppose I'll have to settle for drolling over other people's weddings!
ReplyDeleteThat dress is freakin' gorgeous! Almost makes me want to get married....almost.
ReplyDeleteSo excited for you and to hear all about your DIY wedding plans! Too fun!
ReplyDeletei love the mason jars, would be perfect if you had some sort of charms so each guest could tell their drinks apart.
ReplyDeletealso, just saw this and thought of you! http://www.etsy.com/listing/71289663/floral-headwrap-soft-mauve-pink?ref=sr_gallery_11&ga_search_query=headwrap&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_facet=handmade
i love your inspiration photos. They are all along the same lines as my wedding was last summer. The first pic of the bouquet with the succulants in it is perfection. I went for a woodland rustic theme and used tons of mason jars , twigs and vintage decor. Enjoy your planning!
ReplyDeletethese are such lovely pics! i've never even heard of paper pompoms before and they're so pretty.
ReplyDeletealso, i share the same love for drinks n mason jars!

Hey! We got engaged in January this year & getting married next year. Looking for inspiration is so much fun! As soon as he’d proposed I went out & bought a pretty notebook from paperchase to put it all in! We’ve got all the big things booked (cos I get a bit carried away with planning!) so now it’s all the pretty inspiring things that make the wedding ours. Hope you enjoy coming up with your ideas as much as we do! I’m sure you will! x
ReplyDeleteoh i LOVE the mismatched bridesmaids. <3
ReplyDeletehaha yes! it is hard to make actual choices. there are so many great options for decor and everything that i feel like choosing one thing is saying no to other great things. make sense? haha.
