You can totally ignore my wonky face in the above photo, but for real: How cute is this dress?! Are you annoyed that I keep saying that with every new outfit post? I hope not. I bought this dress from Meghan back at the beginning of March with the intention of it being my ~*birthday dress. It was, sort of. I wore it last Friday when I got my thigh tattooed (the day before my actual birthday) because I didn' think I'd feel comfortable wearing something this length to get tattooed at the convention. You can't see the collar really well because of my cardigan, but it's a pretty pink with a black (bolo?) tie. I initially wore it with a light grey cardigan and it was super cute, but I couldn't find it the other day when I wanted to wear it again. Maybe it's too much pink for most people (cardigan, collar, belt, dress details, nails, lips, etc) but it's perfect to me! haha
I realized I never talked much about Christina's visit/my birthday last weekend! We had so much fun and I'm so so glad she was able to come down for a few days! I already talked about us going to Florence and getting tattooed on Friday, but afterwards we met up with a few of my favorite ladies for drinks at Mexican restaurant in Nashville. Lauren, Jenna, Elle, Christina and I shared a pitcher of yummy strawberry margaritas and chatted about loads of stuff, including this weekend's events. I still have so much to do to prepare for it but hopefully I can swing it haha I didn't take as many (read: any, really) photos of Christina's visit as I'm the worst at photographing life ~*in the moment, but we are waiting on some film scans of some stuff we shot while she was down! I'll be sure to share those once we have them next week. I wish she could be here for the party, but I'm thankful for her willingness to drive 14 hours each way to spend a little time with us! Birthdays are more fun with friends.
I know that last photo is seriously the dumbest thing ever, but that's how Mike knows I'm over having my photo taken haha I start getting a little silly. Last night Mike and I had the house to ourselves while Toby visited with Mike's parents for the weekend. We'll all get together for Toby's baseball game today and they'll keep him until tomorrow. It was a hard call between just lounge around and enjoy the peace and quiet, or actually be productive since Toby wasn't on heels 24/7. I'd like to think we accomplished a little bit of both.
Just a few spots left to fill on my 25 before 26 list and I'll share it. Trying not to make the same mistake I did last year: lumping a lot of irrelevant "goals" onto a list just to get it done. I didn't complete nearly as many as I'd like to say I did so that's made me much more adamant about picking sincere goals, even if they're lofty or silly. I think it'll help to do some mid-year recaps and assessments, too. Tweak things that need it and check off things that have been accomplished.
Well friends, I'm off to get ready and watch my little man kick some booty at his game! I'll probably be a sentimental mess since this is his first game. I'm thinking an ice cream celebration should happen afterward. Then we'll gear up for some ladyfrans and slumber party nonsense. I hope you have a lovely weekend!

That is the most perfect dress there ever was, in the history of dresses.

I also agree, too much pink does not exist (as long as it's done the right way, which you definitely know how to do!).
