Okay. That poop post! I'm actually glad she wrote that, is that weird. Not from a "this is super amusing" perspective, but from a "this actually happens and it's awesome when real people tell real stories that you shouldn't actually be so embarrassed about." It's really related to that "pooping in labour" thing that actually happens (because OF COURSE IT DOES) that women are so sad about, always. I GET IT, but it's so societally drive and makes me so sad. It's not a big deal, it's nothing to be worried about, and it's not disgusting, In any way. At all. It. Happens.
ReplyDeleteThat Ikea kitchen, though. I mean, maybe? The tech is kind of nifty, but the kitchen is so cold and clinical and kind of awful. It reminds me of the restaurant kitchens I used to work in. They were awesome, but they were meant to look like that and be useful and un-homey. I want my kitchen to have sunflowers, or farm chickens, or whatever else makes them lovely and colourful and warm. (I suppose they still could, but that's what really struck me. It's just so...white.... )
