Another new favorite pair of shoes! These are the Jeffrey Campbell Safety shoes, and they are dreamy! I love the heel so much. I've had these for several weeks now but I've only recently been able to wear them out and about. You'll notice from the photo however that they're about a half size too big. You can never really tell with JC platforms but they're sold out in my size and these luckily aren't as big as they appear. (They're the platform/sister shoe to the Security shoe as shown here!) Again, they're so easy to walk in. People kept commenting asking how I could walk in the Litas or Security shoe, but you really fail to realize just how comfortable and easy to walk in they are until you try them on! I was a skeptic myself, and I ordered my first pair of Litas (only my 2nd pair of JCs) back in July... now I have 10 pairs! That's how much I love them... but I digress! I picked up this cute jacket at a thrift shop a few weeks ago for $2. You might remember the yellow version of it that I have (which I thrifted for $1!). It's the perfect lightweight material for a day like above!
Last night Mike and I headed down to Franklin to hang out with the newly engaged Elle + Bryan! Two of my most favorite people in the world. We decided to have a game night and it was so much fun. Many rounds of Uno and Clue were played, then we watched Workaholics and we stayed out way later than we're used to. We actually felt like 20-somethings last night! We definitely hope to make it a weekly happening!

Those shoes are awesome. I would be so scared to walk in them, but you pull them off so well! you have KILLER legs.
ReplyDeletebeautiful as always, love the gorgeous shoes too
ReplyDeleteWow, those shoes are insane!! I wouldn't have the slightest clue how to pull them off, but you make it look effortless. Kudos!
ReplyDeleteLOVE THOSE SHOES. Arghhh!! Seeing them stocked online is a lot different to seeing someone wearing them in photos.
ReplyDeleteI have to say you have changed my opinion.

Those shoes are pretty fantastic! I love the little jacket you're wearing too.
ReplyDeleteI am loving the new outfit location, the lighting is just gorgeous! Also super excited to see what you wear over the colder months, I always struggle so much with making my wardrobe-of-99%-dresses work in the winter time :) xxx
ReplyDeleteI love those shoes! I've been lusting after them for quite some time now. So cute. Love them with this outfit!
ReplyDeleteBummer about the shoes being half a size too big, but you could always wear black socks over your stockings so they will fit a bit more snugg (have done this myself & works a treat!).

Perfect shoes!
ReplyDeleteYou look fantabulous, I love the red jacket and the dress is super cute. From a person who wears flat shoes pretty much all the time these shoes look insane but definitely interesting. You are rocking them.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a fun evening, I love playing board games and staying out too late. I very rarely feel like a 20-something lately but it is fun to have those nights where you cut loose. "Cut loose" haha, oh my slang usage is awesome.

I agree about the walk-ability! It's surprising. As long as there's a platform I can walk in a heel, for some reason with out it i'm f'ed :/
ReplyDeletethese are one of the most comfy pair I have http://bit.ly/t7Xaz6 go figure!
