Love your family updates and outfit posts, but this is the kind of series that really makes an impact for me! In fact, I started my own blog a year and a half ago because of you! newusnewzealand.wordpress.com Nikkiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16417752310133547540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8840382153011642380.post-38557482970797235102014-08-03T17:20:57.720-05:002014-08-03T17:20:57.720-05:00I'm in the social work field as well I work fo...I'm in the social work field as well I work for a private residential treatment psychiatric facility that cares for kids and teens ages 6-21 with severe mental health issues. I was the president of the American Red Cross Junior volunteers in my home town and worked in the nursing homes, hospitals, and blood drives. Along with fundraising and coordinating volunteers. That's a lot for a teenager to do. LOL Ahhh the life of a small town.

I learned, after my daughter suffered her traumatic brain injury, that I can't do it. I am extremely empathic and I become drained. I love helping people help themselves and inspiring people but... I have to do it in writing. I can't do it in person or I am exhausted for weeks. I work in the business health care field.

Bah. I mean to say I absolutely admire Allyson! Girl... you're my hero. This is awesome. I love that she loves her job. That's what our seniors need and our children/adults living with disabilities. My ex- sister in law is a recreational therapist for nursing homes and she's amazing! Rich Mom, Rich Dad.
