// Mom arrested for allowing 7-year-old son to go to park alone. This is so crazy to me. I mean, I get that he's 7, but all of the helicopter parenting is just too much in my opinion. Thoughts?

// One of my absolute favorite things to have with me in my hospital bag during labor and recovery last week was my Banded headbands. They're a local brand that not only makes amazingly comfortable headbands, but also supports an amazing charitable cause. (1 headband purchase = 3 meals for orphaned children in Uganda!) I can't sing their praises enough. The headbands themeslves are awesome (so comfortable + functional) but I love the cause and that they're from my college town of Franklin.

// I am loving this dress Roxy is wearing in this post. Does anyone else think macaroni and cheese when they see it? Just me? Maybe I'm just hungry... haha!

// Wishlist Wears: you can't go wrong with saffron yellow chiffon! // this would be so cute with some bright red trousers and boat shoes // totally feeling an early 90's "couch" vibe from this pattern, but i love it // this has such a romantic feel to it // this top makes me want to go camping (with a fire pit and s'mores!) // the colors and pattern of this dress make it the perfect summer-to-autumn transition piece // this dress would look so cute on someone with pale pink hair // this embroidery is on point!

What are you loving this week?

PS; Happy freakin' last day of July! Whoa!

// Design: Hazel and Honey

Here's a recent design I finished and installed for the lovely Justyna of Hazel and Honey. This is by far one of my all time favorite designs I've ever done and if you've followed me for a while then you'll see the very obvious inspiration: our photography branding. Even the name is similar! (though I didn't have any hand in that haha) The colors and illustrated elements really have the same vibe and I was almost crossing my fingers she'd hate it so I could use it on my own blog! (Truth be told, a lot of my own blog's design tends to stem from rejected client mocks... I fall in love and then tweak them to my own liking. I may or may not be in the midst of a new layout design for TCGG already...) I feel really lucky that I get to design with a very distinct style that I enjoy, and I love when my clients share a similar aesthetic.

I was able to start and finish Justyna's design pretty quickly considering I was trying to tie up all client projects. I feel like this gig really breathed some new life into my desire to create unique spaces for bloggers, so I'm really looking forward to getting back to the grind after my maternity leave.

I'm currently booking clients for my return (exact date yet undetermined) but if you'd like to get on the list, please feel free to send me an email! (It may take me a few days to get back with you, but I promise to respond ASAP!) I'm more than happy to discuss payment plans and project timelines with you so everyone wins! Thanks for taking a peek at Justyna's new space.

The last of the maternity photos Mike shot of me. These were taken in Big Lagoon State Park in Florida on our vacation. They're by far my favorite of the bunch. It's hard to believe this belly is no more, but what an experience! I'm going to cherish these photos forever.

And we really wanted to get a few family snaps, too, so our sweet friend Jenna offered to nab a few of us one (sweaty!) Saturday afternoon. We forgot to take into consideration the lens would be foggy after getting the camera out of a nice air conditioned car, so we only have a few, but they're so so special! My heart! (Toby's dirty little feet are my absolute favorite)... Now to work on getting photos of all four of us!

// Linden Atlas Flynn

Hello world! There's a new face to show off around these parts. Our sweet little dude made his grand entrance on Wednesday and we have been absolutely over the moon ever since. Labor and delivery were the absolute opposite of what we had "planned" for, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat because he was worth absolutely every second of it. We headed home from the hospital Friday night and we've been working to find our groove ever since. If you follow me on Instagram then you're probably totally over the baby spam already, but I'm going to soak up every little ounce of this that I can because goodness knows they don't stay little for long. He's already five days old!

Ahh! He's here! I'm still pinching myself... Welcome to the world, Linden. You are perfect! xo

// Instagram Favorites: July

Here is my second installation of my monthly Instagram favorites. Each month I choose 5 accounts to highlight and I share a few of their most recent snaps that I've enjoyed. Some are highly curated, some include more "real" moments, and some are just really nice to look at. Hopefully you find a few new favorites to follow! As always, you're welcome to share your favorite accounts, or even links to your own, in the comments below! xo

BlushShop is a the feed of a cute little boutique in Canada and I'm in love with the colors of this space. The pastel pinks, the paint splattered floor, the gold accents... I'm a sucker for retail inspiration and this feed is full of it. There are a lot of staged product photos, but I enjoy that personally!

Laura's feed makes me want to get outdoors and explore! She captures some of the most beautiful scenery on her adventures. The light, the texture, and the vastness of the spaces she chooses to share... Ah, I love it!

Ali's feed is a very "real" depiction of her day to day, so it seems. She's a designer at Ban.do and I enjoy the variety of snaps to be found on her Instagram. Everything from behind the scenes photos at work to regular every day pics of her and her friends.

Amber's feed is one of my all time favorites. This girl knows how to decorate! I love looking through her photos of her home, even though it makes me pretty jealous of all the gorgeous natural light she seems to get! She also shares a lot of really precious photos of her kids, but not in a way that seems to exploit them like some moms on social media. It's almost like you can feel the love between this family via her account.

Rebecca's feed is a one stop shop for all things creative and wonderful. She's a Colorado-based photographer, calligrapher, and floral artist. Seriously, she does it all. And she does it so well! She's also a really really sweet person. I'm always fawning over the gorgeous snaps she takes of elopements in the misty mountains.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

And those are my July favorites! I'll be back next month to share another round of lovely Instagrammers. Feel like sharing your own or tossing your hat into the ring? Leave your links below! xo
