My favorite childhood memory is doing these talent shows with my friends in elementary school! It was highly competitive and we took it so seriously, which, looking back on it, is hilarious. But we pulled it off, with all our hard work, and i just love how close it brought all of us.

My childhood reminds me of many flavors and spices. My mother often made us rice with milk, cinnamon and orange peel, grandmother with pies, cakes and bread from the hearth, we baked potatoes and corn in jar. Smell of newly mown grass when we help to gather food for horses uncle. Of orchard fruit scent when doing tight race with children to harvest.

My favorite childhood memory is my brother and i building an entire city out of wooden blocks my uncle made for us. We created apartments and then drew out individual apartment buildings. After we had created this massive city we looked at each other for a moment and just started tearing in to it. I think the reason I love this memory so much is because my brother and I are really close and also that feeling of creating is so wonderful yet the destructive feeling of causing a natural disaster for our mini city dwellers was an instant rush of gratification. Anyways my email is michaela.michaela.michaela @ gmail.com
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful giveaway! My favorite childhood memory is when I was in Arizona with my dad and we were at a sprinkler park. I was wearing a swimsuit with a giant sunflower on it, with beads for the seeds. A hummingbird zipped on up to my swimsuit and began pecking at the beads! I wasn't sure if I should laugh, or cry! Haha.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite childhood memory would probably be when my dad brought home our cat, Spooks. I think I was about seven years old and he surprised us one night when he got home from work he was holding a kitten. He was the most mellow, friendliest cat you could imagine. The whole neighbourhood loved him and he would sponge warm milk off of them when we were away on camping trips. I miss him more than anything!

My favourite childhood memories(sorry, but it all goes together): The hot summer weekends we would spend at my nana's house, swimming, her serving up watermelon slices, ice-lollies and melted cheese rolls. Letting me rummage through the millions of button's she had collected over the years.

My favorite childhood memory would have to be spending an entire summer with my grandpa and holding school classes every day. I was the teacher and he was the student. I held class every day and he even did his homework each day, and we put together a drama performance that we acted out in front of my parents at the end of the summer. He was a good sport!
