♥ dress: urban outfitters || cardigan, flats & tights: target || belt & purse: forever 21 ♥
We're currently experiencing unseasonably warm temperatures in Tennessee. This outfit was from Thursday and it was warm enough on Friday to go without a jacket. 65 degrees! The high two weeks ago was a shocking 12 degrees! Of course this is supposed to mean thunderstorms, but I welcome them with open arms! I really enjoyed wearing this outfit. I almost forgot I had this dress from UO until I happend upon it in Mike's car! (Yeah, it was in there since our
North Carolina roadtrip... don't judge me!) It was perfect with these moss tights from Target, but don't be fooled, the wind definitely got the best of me a few times and threw the skirt of that dress right over my head! Good thing I was wearing a really really long tank top (to mid-thigh) and eventually my long coat as to not flash any passers-by. Oops! I was afraid the black cardigan would bring down the outfit too much, but it really needed a pop of something. I wouldn't typically venture this way with all these neutrals, but I actually enjoy how it turned out! I think it was a nice balance with the headband and flats, too. Of course I'm biased!
I'm writing this post on Friday evening, if you can't tell! It's not the New Year yet, technically, though I guess when you read this it will be, so I don't have much to tell you about work yet, but I'll be sure to get on that later today!
I hope 2011 is panning out to be everything you had hoped for! xo
The weather can be crazy sometimes!! Hope you had a great new years. :)
